Anyone catch the Bucky play in SF last year or two (it may be closed now) The History (and Mystery) of the Universe" at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre?
This was a fascinating account of the man's life and some of his key philosophies told be actor Ron Campbell, who did a fantastic job! They had a dome in the entrance and had a bunch of good Bucky stuff for sale.
If you got to see this, any thoughts, impressions, ideas to share? If not anyone seen any documentaries on the man they would recommend???
I signed up to get a transcript but it never arrived I would love to get myhands on one if anyone out there got one...

ron campbell was indeed a fine young bucky. i recognised material from my favorite bucky book, "intuition". an inspiring read and probably still out of print. "thinking out loud" is the name of one documentary film though not my favorite.
of course, the fairy tale, "tetrascroll" is fine and "critical path", also "grunch" intro-to-bucky books. i don't have them any more because i keep giving them away.

Fri, February 25, 2005 - 6:24 PMI caught this back in 2001 I think. Absolutely fantastic - next best thing to having met the man himself. Come to think of it I did meet the actor himself handing out flyers for the show in front of the Red Vic movie house a few months later!
